Over 25 years in DACH IT — starting with Novell NetWare, Token Ring, Sun Solaris and Motorola PowerPC, later through every generation of Windows, Linux, cloud, RMM and AI to the present day. Frustrated by the same problems as our customers: tools that do not talk to each other. Compliance documents that run in parallel to reality. AI tools that create more complexity than they resolve.

PioneerDesk is the answer to that frustration: a workshop that builds platforms instead of buying them in. Your data stays in Europe, EU requirements are considered from the start — and AI agents are an integral part.

We work in small, tightly connected teams of engineers, domain experts and operations. No classic pyramid org chart — but hand-tended partnerships for every domain we build in.

Our sales principle: B2B demo rather than self-serve, evidence rather than promises, honest disqualifiers rather than forced cycles.

PioneerDesk is young. The foundation behind it is not.

AI that runs on your own servers (sovereign AI) and platforms in regulated industries demand exactly the diligence Marcus Lenczyk has built up over two decades of enterprise IT — moves between on-premise servers and cloud, recovery after an outage (disaster recovery), clearly governed access rights (IAM/RBAC), the principle of trusting no access blindly (zero trust), and roll-outs on a scale of tens of thousands. No Berlin posturing. We are based where the customers we address are based — mid-sized companies, MSPs, regional hospitals. Place of jurisdiction: AG Mühldorf / LG Traunstein. Working languages: German and English, B2B-direct.

Operationally distributed: code in Germany, cloud in Germany (STACKIT), billing in line with GoBD via Lexoffice. No US cloud drift, no convenience shortcuts.

Values

Four sentences we live by.

Sovereignty is not a slogan. When we say EU-sovereign, we mean technically impossible any other way.
Compliance before convenience. Better the inconvenient stack that pleases the auditor than the convenient one that costs a fine tomorrow.
Speed is a consequence. 17 days to production is not haste — it is the result of clean architectural work.
Disqualify honestly. If we are not the right partner, we say so. It saves time on both sides.
