AI literacy for the whole workforce — without jargon, with a credential that third parties can verify. EU-sovereign on STACKIT.
Employees are flooded with AI tools without understanding the principles. Kompetenzanker reverses the order: first understand, then apply safely, then be able to prove it — with a credential that is cryptographically signed and can be verified by third parties.
The problem
Two problems with one origin: a surplus of tools without understanding, and the shadow-IT trap in which sensitive data ends up in public tools. Add to that the requirement of Art. 4 EU AI Act: the obligation is literacy — and you must be able to demonstrate it as soon as a third party asks.
How it works
- 01 A knowledge tree in seven levels. The foundation (levels 1 to 4) is free for all employees: short videos of two to five minutes, in German and English.
- 02 Champion track from level 5 for the people who are to carry it forward internally: knowledge stores, AI agents, architecture, IT security, governance — following the “teach the teacher” principle.
- 03 Every lesson with an animation that runs in sync with the spoken video; switching language carries video, text and animation along.
- 04 A practical project in a protected sandbox with an AI tutor that asks questions instead of dictating answers.
- 05 The credential: a signed PDF with verification code and QR code, publicly verifiable; an aggregated report per organisation; export to learning platforms (SCORM, xAPI, LTI).
Sovereignty & evidence
- Hosting, AI inference and storage on STACKIT (Schwarz Group), Germany region. Data stays within the EU legal area and is not used to train public models.
- Built works-council-safe: only aggregated metrics from a minimum group of five people, no individual scoring, no behavioural monitoring.
- Competence credential with Ed25519 signature, externally verifiable; audit trail as a chain with post-quantum signature (ML-DSA-65), secured against retrospective change.
- Hardened operation: TLS, strict security headers, minimal container privileges, network rules — verified live.
- Not legal advice, not an accredited education provider. The credential evidences competence; it does not replace a legal review.
Why a learning platform at a deep tech integrator
Because every system we build fails at the point where people do not understand it. Kompetenzanker is our answer to the question of how AI literacy emerges in a company without sensitive data ending up in public tools and without every employee having to become a developer.
What the platform is — and what it is not
Kompetenzanker teaches principles, not how to operate a particular tool. The credential at the end is technically robust: signed, with a public verification code, secured in a chain against retrospective change. It is not a certificate from a public authority and not legal advice. What Art. 4 EU AI Act requires in your specific case is for your legal department to determine — we deliver the substance and the proof.

- Does a company have to demonstrate AI literacy?
- Art. 4 EU AI Act obliges providers and deployers to ensure a sufficient level of AI literacy among their staff. It demands literacy, not a particular certificate. You must be able to demonstrate it wherever a third party checks — auditor, customer, insurer. That is exactly what the signed credential is for. This is not legal advice.
- Why no external trainer?
- Because competence should stay in-house. Kompetenzanker trains internal multipliers who carry the knowledge forward — and the foundation is open to the whole workforce, not just one training group.
- What does the works council see?
- Only aggregated metrics from five people upwards. No individual scoring, no behavioural monitoring. Template works agreements are included.
- What does Kompetenzanker cost?
- The foundation is free. The terms for the champion track and the credential are on kompetenzanker.de — we deliberately keep them up to date only there.
